A short introduction to the ABC’s of Courage
As one of the 4 cornerstones to Corkscrew Thinking, we invite you to join us on an exploration of what Courage is and how it can help you on your journey to owning your future.
A quick google search of courage will reveal a plethora of literature. From wartime victories and medals of bravery to moral studies, psychology, leadership frameworks and motivational speakers.
But what does Courage look like in the everyday?
Courage is about being willing to Attempt new things. Having the courage to try something for first time, even if it means taking a risk and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.
Courage is about having Belief in your ideas. Having the courage to back yourself but also trust in other people enough to be able to let go of the reigns.
Courage is about being able to Communicate. Having the courage to say what you mean and speak truthfully even if it results in a difficult conversation and additionally being able to admit and communicate when you have made a mistake.
Courage and Corkscrew Thinking?
Courage for us at Corkscrew represents and recognises the importance of following through with your intentions and taking responsibility for yourself and your actions. It forces you to go beyond thinking and commits you to ‘do’.
Attempt. Belief. Communicate
This is a post that we will continue to explore and expand on. To make sure you stay up to date with the conversation, be sure to follow our topic of COURAGE.
